About
Scenehuset was built as a chapel in 1898. Since 1990 Scenehuset has been one of the most important rehearsal spaces for dance productions in Norway. Almost every choreographer and dancer in Norway has at some point used Scenehuset as a rehearsal space or even as a venue for performance.
The floor measures 17 x 11 meters and there is approximately 9 meters from floor to ceiling. The space consists of the great hall with gallery, kitchen, showroom and toilets. There is no stage area but a flat floor with lots of possibilities.
Rent
Dance Info Norway administrates Scenehuset as a rehearsal space and as an alternative venue. You may also rent the space for workshops, auditions etc., but not for parties. Scenehuset is one of the most important services we offer the professional dance field. We let Scenehuset half days (before/after 5pm) or whole days for reasonable prices. Included in the rent there is a sound system and chairs in different heights if you want to have a performance there.
